The Leica Digilux 1 is the seccond digital camera produces by Leitz. The camera was developed in partnership with Panasonic and shares almost everything with the Panasonic brother DMC-LC5. The lens was built by Panasonic to Leica standards and was also used on the Panasonic DMC-LC5, DMC-L40, Toshiba PDR-M70, and Canon G2-5. The sensor is a 1/1.8" 4 megapixel CCD. When it was introduces in 2002 the camera was sold for $899.
